Admits Trauma, Wife Of Surabaya District Court Judge: Fear Week-Sunday

JAKARTA - Rita Sicycleuk, the wife of the defendant Erintuah Damanik, admitted that she was traumatized by the search and arrest of her husband by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) investigators. In fact, it made her frightened for weeks.

This confession was conveyed when he testified in the case of alleged bribery and gratification of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal with the defendants Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindoyo, and Mangapul.

"That's what made me, I don't dare to see people again, sir, the fear is very tense for how many weeks," Rita said during a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Tuesday, January 7.

Not only that, Rita also said that after a series of searches by her apartment unit, it was not uncommon for the sound of a knock on the door.

This is said to cause him to feel restless. In fact, he couldn't sleep for a few days.

"Then sometimes after that there are also taps, I can't sleep for days, sir," said Rita.

The prosecutor who heard the confession tried to find out the real cause of Rita's fear.

Apparently, Rita's trauma and fear arose because her husband was caught in an alleged criminal act.

"Because the legal process was carried out on my mother's husband, right?" asked the prosecutor.

"Yes," said Rita agreeing.

In the case of alleged bribery and gratification, the three defendants were charged with accepting bribes amounting to Rp1 billion and 308,000 Singapore dollars, which in total converted to around Rp 4.6 billion. The money was allegedly given in exchange for influencing the decision of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's case.

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) in his indictment revealed that bribes were received in various stages from January to August 2024.

Erintuah Damanik received 48,000 Singapore dollars in cash from Merizka Widjaja Tannur and Lisa Rachmat. In addition, Erintuah received a share of 38,000 Singapore dollars from Singapore dollars in cash which was received with other defendants.

Then, Mangapul received 36,000 Singapore dollars out of a total share of 140,000 Singapore dollars.

Meanwhile, Heru Hanindyo got 36,000 Singapore dollars from the same distribution, as well as IDR 1 billion in cash and 120,000 Singapore dollars from the same party.
