Palace: President Prabowo Will Check Free Nutrition Food Suddenly To Make It More Natural

JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi said that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto would suddenly review the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program to make it look natural, without special preparation.

"He just conveyed a message, he will check it later, suddenly come to the points he wants. So, don't use woro-woro so you can see this is more natural, right," Hasan Nasbi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 6.

Hasan Nasbi's statement was related to President Prabowo Subianto's activities, which were not scheduled to review the implementation of the MBG program on the first day starting, namely Monday, January 6, 2025.

Hasan also explained that until now, the President has not been scheduled to review the implementation of MBG at certain points, both in the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) and schools.

Meanwhile, a number of ministers from the Red and White Cabinet visited the SPPG and schools on the first day of the MBG program simultaneously held in various regions of Indonesia on the first day of Monday, January 6.

From various information compiled by ANTARA, the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid reviewed the implementation of free nutritious meals at SDN Cilangkap 5 Depok, Depok City, West Java; and at SDN Cilangkap 3 Depok, Depok City, West Java.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi directly checked the public kitchen for free nutritious food in the Halim Perdanakusuma area, East Jakarta, as well as the implementation of MBG at SD Angkasa 05, Halim Perdana Kusuma Complex, East Jakarta.

The head of Hasan Nasbi's office also visited the Tanah Sareal SPPG public kitchen, Bogor City, West Java at Denpal III/Bogor Field and two elementary and junior high school levels.

The MBG program launched by President Prabowo has started running in 26 provinces in Indonesia, namely Aceh, Bali, West Sumatra, North Sumatra, Riau Islands, Riau, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Maluku, North Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, to West Papua and South Papua.
