BGN: President Prabowo Will Inspect MBG Monitoring School

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana said President Prabowo Subianto would conduct surprise inspections or inspect schools to monitor the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.

"Mr. Prabowo is monitoring at any time and he will conduct an inspection," Dadan told reporters as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 6.

As an unannounced inspection, Dadan said the school that was the destination of President Prabowo's inspection was kept secret. In line with this, Dadan said that his party asked all schools to be prepared to carry out the program as best they could.

"Meanwhile, please prepare it as well as possible. He (President Prabowo) continues to monitor from various sides and he will definitely visit various locations, but he doesn't know the name of the inspection," he said.

It is known that the National Nutrition Agency officially started the Free Nutrition Food Program today, Monday (6/1).

Head of the BGN RI Legal and Public Relations Bureau (Humas) Lalu Muhammad Iwan Mahar and explained the first priority of giving Free Nutrition Food in January 2025, namely to school students.

Dadan Hindayana ensured that his party would evaluate the Free Nutrition Eating program every day.

"Of course we will evaluate every day, as I said our target from January to April will cover three million beneficiaries," he said.

He also conveyed that joint supervision was the focus of the National Nutrition Agency in overseeing the implementation of Free Nutrition Food in all regions in the country.

"Joint supervision and the smallest possible central procurement," said Dadan.

He also emphasized that his party will ensure that the procurement of the Free Nutrition Food program will remain under the control of the National Nutrition Agency.

The implementation of the Free Nutrition Eating program is claimed to prioritize quality, as directed by President Prabowo Subianto.

"We prioritize quality. The President advised many times not to pursue quantity, but quality. So for those who are ready to be executed," said Dadan.
