Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, responded to the absence of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming on the first day of the free nutritious trial which took place in a number of areas.

"Today we are grateful, thank God the government has started to realize a nutritious lunch on Monday, January 6, 2025 in 26 provinces. Eating nutritious free, nutritious meals is carried out in 26 provinces. According to Muzani, President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran are monitoring the implementation of free nutritious meals in the field. President Prabowo, he said, also received reports from his assistants in various regions.

"Yes, he is monitoring and he continues to follow the development of this nutritious lunch, and he continues to get various reports from various regions," he said.

Regarding the absence of a milk menu in today's free nutritious food trial (MBG), the chairman of the MPR asked the chairman of the Nutrition Agency to ask him. According to him, the implementation of the MBG is still gradual so that later there will be improvements.

"Yes, this is still gradual, so the implementation is still carried out in several places and the existing budget is indeed sufficient for the designated areas. Try later to ask the Nutrition Agency," said Muzani.

As is known, the implementation of the free nutritious eating program (MBG) simultaneously has begun. Observed, on the first day of distribution of MBG in Jakarta schools, no milk was distributed.

This was seen in MBG at SD Barunawati II and SMP Negeri 61 Jakarta which were distributed from the Palmerah Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG).

The school became the location for the review of Deputy Minister of Social Affairs (Wamensos) Agus Jabo Priyono, Spokesperson for the Presidential Communication Office, Dedek Prayudi, and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta.

Agus admitted that the cause of there was no milk in the distribution of MBG on the first day in Jakarta was due to limited stock so that milk was not served every day.

"The milk problem is planned because it doesn't exist today, it's not there yet, it's been two to three times a week. So, it's not every day. It's targeted that a week, about two to three times there will be milk," Agus said at SD Barunawati, West Jakarta, Monday, January 6.
