The Directorate General of Islamic Education (Ditjen Pendis) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has issued Circular Letter (SE) Number 10 of 2024 concerning Guidelines for Free Nutrition Food (MBG) in Islamic boarding schools.
The Director General of Islamic Education at the Ministry of Religion, Abu Rokhmad, explained that the circular issued on December 31, 2024 was intended for all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.
"All Islamic education entities are ready to support and succeed in a free nutritious eating program. We have published this circular as a guide for MBG implementation in Islamic boarding schools," said Abu Rokhmad in Jakarta, Sunday, January 5.
According to Abu Rokhmad, the implementation of the free nutritious eating program is not only aimed at meeting the nutritional needs of the students, but also as an effort to strengthen their character.
