Man In South Jakarta Hit By Train Is Still Alive, His Head Is Torn

TANGERANG - A man with the initials YA (43) was hit by a train heading to Kebayoran Lama-Rangkasbitung near Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 2, in the afternoon.

Kebayoran Lama Police Chief Kompol Widya said the incident began when the victim tried to break through the railroad door. However, at the same time the electric train (KRL) passed, causing the accident to occur.

"The victim was hit by a train from the direction of Kebayoran Lama Station to Pondok Ranji at the crossing one," said Widya when confirmed, Thursday, January 2.

As a result of the incident, said Widya, the victim bounced about one meter after being hit by a train. The victim suffered a tear in the head, but was still conscious.

"The victim finally bounced about one meter after being hit by a train," he said

The police who received the information went directly to the crime scene (TKP). Then the victim was evacuated to Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.

"(The victim) is still safe. He was evacuated to Fatmawati Hospital. He was still conscious when he was taken to the Puskesmas," he concluded.
