Photos and videos of the triangular object flickering through the clouds were taken by Navy personnel, Pentagon spokesman Sue Gough said in a statement to CNN.

He also confirmed that photos of three unidentified flying objects, one spherical, the other shaped as acorns and one marked as metal balloons, were also taken by Navy personnel.
