Security Post Terror Militants In Pakistan, 1 Police And 1 Customs Employee Died

Militants armed with assault rifles attacked security posts in the northwestern region of Pakistan killing one police officer and another Customs employee.

Citing AP, the exact attack took place at the Draban Post in Dera Ismail Khan, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, on Tuesday, December 31 in the morning.

local police official Abdullah Khan said the militants fled after their terror was met by security forces.

Until now, no one has claimed responsibility for the militant attack.

However, security forces suspect that the Pakistani Taliban, or Tehrik-e-Taliban, were behind this attack.

Terik-e-Taliban is known to often attack security forces in the northwestern region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.
