Ahok, Anies, And Pram-Doel Will Attend The Hope Of The Public Prosecutor At DKI City Hall This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held an event entitled "Btang Harapan JAKAsa" at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta as part of a series of celebrations on New Year's Eve 2025. A number of former DKI Jakarta Governors are said to be present in this activity.

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi revealed that several former DKI Governors had confirmed their presence, such as Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) to Anies Baswedan.

"God willing, many previous governors were also present. Those who have confirmed include Pak Sutiyoso, Fauzi Bowo, Ahok, Anies, Djarot, and God willing, I hope Pak Sumarsono has communicated earlier," Teguh told reporters, Monday, December 30 evening.

In addition, the pair of candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta elected in the 2024 Pilkada, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Doel) will also attend the DKI City Hall this afternoon to attend the event.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a number of activities to enliven the 2026 New Year celebrations. Before the last day of 2024, namely on December 30, the DKI Provincial Government held prayers and remembrance together by involving 10 thousand residents including Jakarta ASN.

On December 31, there will be several activities to be held. The first is JeJAKi Jakarta, in the form of exploring the Jakarta civilization which takes place at 07.00-09.00 WIB.

The next stage is to the Raja Kuring restaurant, the Ingan City Bridge, the Jakarta History Museum, the Ceramic Museum, Beos Station (Jakarta Kota), then ending at DKI Jakarta City Hall.

The second activity is the hope of JAKAsa. In this activity, the DKI Provincial Government will unfurl 500 meters of white cloth for Jakarta residents to write down their hopes for the City of Jakarta towards the age of 500 years.

The cloth will be placed at several points, starting from City Hall, as well as mayor's offices and the administrative regent of the Thousand Islands. Later, the cloth will be displayed on Jalan MH Thamrin to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman during car free day (CFD) throughout 2025.

"We hope that political leaders, government, society, customs and religions as well as various other elements of society can write down about their hopes all about the city of Jakarta in the future," explained Teguh.

The next activities are Bazaar Jakpreneur which is located at 5 points on Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Sudirman, and Late Night Shopping at Lippo Mall Puri, and Green Sedayu Mall.

At its peak, there will be an entertainment stage to celebrate New Year's Eve. At the provincial level, the stage is spread on Jalan MH Thamrin and Jalan Sudirman, Lapangan Banteng, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Monas on the south side, Kota Tua, and Ancol.

This entertainment stage event entitled Semarak Jakarta World is enlivened by a number of musicians, including Letto, Naff, Ten2Five, RAN, Merpati Band, Yura Yunita, Endah N Rhesa, Mahaz, and others.

Also held is an entertainment stage at the city and district levels of the Thousand Islands. A total of 23 entertainment stages were prepared.
