JAKARTA - A man with special needs became a victim of a beating by two youths on Jalan Tanah Tinggi XII, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.

The victim with the initials YS suffered several injuries and was treated. The victim works as a garbage collector in the local RW environment.

The beating took place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at around 00.00 WIB. The beating began when the victim YS told the perpetrators.

Then the two perpetrators felt unhappy and immediately reprimanded the victim. Apparently, the victim YS immediately put up the horses to challenge the duel.

Furthermore, victim YS was beaten repeatedly by the perpetrator on the side of the road and lying unconscious.

The case was then reported to the Johar Baru Police. Officers who carried out the crime scene, then arrested one person who beat up.

"Yes, we have arrested one perpetrator. One perpetrator is still being hunted. The two perpetrators are threatened with Article 170 of the Criminal Code," said Johar Baru Police Chief, Commissioner Saiful Anwar when confirmed, Monday, December 30.

Furthermore, Kompol Saiful said, the victim suffered bruises on the face and right chest.

"The suspects jointly beat and beat the victim and suffered injuries to the victim," he said.
