TANGERANG - Jakarta's UIN Chancellor's Building, Ciputat, South Tangerang (Tangsel) takar. A total of 10 firefighters were deployed.

The Commander of the Pleton Bravo of the South Tangerang City Fire Service, Nurudin, said the report came in on Monday, December 30, at 06.30 WIB.

"It's really on fire. The Chancellor's Building, it's cooling down," said Nurudin when confirmed, Monday, December 30.

Nurudin said there were 10 firefighters and dozens of personnel deployed. The fire can be controlled, so far it has entered the cooling stage.

"Now it's cooling down," he said.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the South Tangerang Fire Department (Danton) Imam said the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

"The cause was an electrical short in a stop contact," said Imam when confirmed, Monday, December 30.

10 units of fire engines were dispatched and the fire could be extinguished at 07.35 WIB.

"It's out. Earlier at 07.35 WIB. The percentage burned was only 10 percent," he said.

He also confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss reached Rp. 200 million.

"Losses of Rp. 200 million. It's true that the files in the rector's room caught fire. But partly. The file is about whether it doesn't know, but some of it just caught fire," he concluded.
