South Tangerang PMI Blood Donor Unit Achieves Plenary Accreditation From The Ministry Of Health

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of South Tangerang City (Tangsel) has won plenary accreditation from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia

TANGERANG The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Blood Donor Unit (UDD) South Tangerang City (Tangsel) has won plenary accreditation from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia. This admission confirms that the South Tangerang PMI UDD has met high standards in the process of collecting, storing, and distributing blood.

The chairman of PMI Tangsel, Airin Rachmy Diany, stated that this achievement was the result of the team's hard work. He also hopes that this accreditation can be a motivation to continue to improve services to the community.

"We have a Blood Donor Unit (UDD), and thank God it has been accredited to the plenary session. This is a motivation for us to continue to improve blood donation services and assistance needed by the community," Airin said at the South Tangerang PMI Working Conference on Thursday, December 19.

Airin added that providing services to the community is the main priority of the South Tangerang PMI. However, the evaluation of the work program is still carried out to formulate a strategic plan until 2025.

We evaluate what has been done so far. Of course, future work programs will be designed until 2025. Our main focus is how to continue to provide optimal humanitarian services to the community," he explained.

Furthermore, Airin also emphasized the importance of cooperation with the government and other institutions to be present in the community.

Meanwhile, the Head of UDD PMI Tangsel City, Suhara Manullang, explained that services at the South Tangerang PMI UDD have now been certified as accredited with the plenary session. This means that the blood products processed are in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Health.

The South Tangerang PMI Blood Donor Unit is believed to be part of the Blood Processing Unit (UPD). The process starts from donors, processing, to blood distribution is in accordance with the health minister's regulatory standards," said Suhara.

He added that the accreditation was carried out on November 21 by the institution appointed by the Ministry of Health. As a result, UDD PMI Tangsel was declared to have passed with a plenary predicate.

"We are grateful that UDD PMI Tangsel has undergone an accreditation process and received proud results, namely plenary accreditation," he added.

With this title, the South Tangerang PMI UDD is expected to continue to provide the best service in supporting blood needs and helping the community optimally.
