Presiden Prabowo Teken Perpres Tukin Pegawai BIN, Tunjangan Kepala BIN Capai 150 Percent

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto signed Presidential Regulation Number 203 of 2024 which regulates Employee Performance Allowances within the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

The Presidential Regulation contains provisions regarding the provision of performance allowances for employees within BIN by taking into account the performance achievements of employees and their gifts are adjusted to the class of their positions following the provisions of the legislation.

Especially for the head of BIN, the performance allowance given is worth 150 percent of the highest performance allowance in the BIN environment and this is regulated in article 5.

It is ensured that the recipients of the performance allowances are required to pay taxes in the form of income taxes according to applicable regulations.

This Presidential Regulation also regulates four groups of employees who are excluded from providing performance allowances, ranging from employees who do not have certain positions to BIN employees who take leave outside of state dependents or entering retirement preparations. All classes of employees who are excluded are regulated in article 7.

In more detail, this rule also emphasizes that recipients of performance allowances within BIN are obliged to maintain and improve the implementation of bureaucratic reform.

With the new Presidential Decree, the previous regulation, namely Presidential Regulation Number 117 of 2018 concerning Employee Performance Allowances within the State Intelligence Agency (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018 number 211) was revoked and no longer valid.

The Presidential Decree was enacted on December 16, 2024 and promulgated by the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi on the same date.
