Searching for the Cause of Death of a Family in Ciputat, Police Summon Forensic Doctors

TANGERANG - The police are still investigating the case of the discovery of the bodies of a family on Jalan Poncol Indah III, RT 05/02, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The investigation was conducted to uncover the motive and chronology of the deaths of the husband and wife and their 3-year-old child, AF (31), YL (28), and child AH (3).

Ciputat Timur Police Chief, Ciputat Timur Police Chief Commissioner Kemas M. S. Arifin said that his party would use the Scientific Crime Investigation method to determine the cause of the victims' deaths.

It is known that at the time of the incident, the mother and child were found lying on the floor of the house. Meanwhile, the husband was found hanging.

"We will use the Scientific Crime Investigation method to make it clear," said Kemas to reporters at the Ciputat Timur Police, Monday, December 16.

Not only that, he also said that he would involve digital forensic experts and forensic doctors from the Police Hospital. Later, after the results are known, the cause of death of the victims can be concluded.

"The conclusion after we get it from forensic medicine can only be concluded so while it is still in the process of investigation. For that information we have not received where the location is including the autopsy," he said.

The police have also confiscated several pieces of evidence to help the existing investigation process, such as raffia rope to the victim's clothes.

"The evidence that we have secured is raffia rope and rope, the victim's clothes, and 3 cellphones belonging to the husband and wife," he said

Regarding the chronology of the discovery of the 3 bodies, continued Kompol Kemas, it was first discovered by two witnesses from the victim's family on Sunday at around 11.00 WIB.

The witnesses at that time came to the victim's house to turn on the water because the machine button was in the victim's house.

"Came to the victim's house to turn on the water which happened to have the on/off button inside the victim's house, but the door to the house was still locked," he said.

The two witnesses finally tried to open the door through the unlocked window. After being able to get inside, the two witnesses saw YL and her son AH already lying down with stiff bodies in the room.

"Then witness 2 tried to take the victim A.H (child) to the Cirendeu Medika Clinic, but when they arrived at the location according to medical personnel, the victim had been declared dead," he said.

Not long after that, the witness found the body of another victim, AF, hanging.

"For the victim AF, he was found dead hanging in the kitchen using a rope tied to a flapon wood," he explained.
