JAKARTA - The case of mistreatment of DAD (19), a former employee of the Lindayes bakery, went on for 2 months after the victim made a report on October 18, 2024. The East Jakarta Metro Police just arrested the perpetrator, George or GSH on Monday, December 16, early in the morning.

The length of the investigation process until the process of arresting the perpetrators was carried out because the police worked professionally and procedurally.

However, only employees at the bakery witnessed the incident. When they (victims) reported the crime scene, apparently they reported it to the Pulogadung Police.

"Finally, from the Pulogadung Police, it was then directed to the Cakung Police. But because the victim was a woman, it was recommended to the East Jakarta Metro Police, where there was a Women and Children Protection Unit," said Arief Wicaksono to VOI at the East Jakarta Police, Monday, December 16.

Furthermore, the East Jakarta Metro Police carried out an investigation process and referred to the victim for a post-mortem.

"The police have carried out fast movements, so they were immediately taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. Because there was a time lag, especially since this was not an incident that was caught red-handed, the Resort Police finally needed time to be able to collect sufficient preliminary evidence and sufficient evidence," he said.

Meanwhile, the problem occurred during the process of summoning witnesses.

"The police investigators want to take witness statements, this is a bit difficult because most of the witnesses are employees of the bread company. That takes quite a long time," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police arrested George, the son of Roti boss Lindayes for the case of mistreatment of a former female employee.

"The perpetrator George has been secured at a hotel in Sukabumi," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Monday, December 16.

This arrest proves that the perpetrator is not above the law, as he admitted to the victim DAD (19) some time ago.

"The perpetrator has been secured by joint personnel from the Dit Krimum Polda Metro Jaya and the East Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit at the Anugerah Hotel, Sukabumi," he said.

Just so you know, the former employee of the bakery Lindayes was abused by the son of the shop owner with the initials GSH at the Lindayes Roti Shop, Jalan Raya Pegilingan, Cakung District, East Jakarta. Then the incident went viral on social media on Friday, December 13, 2024. The GSH perpetrator was arrested by the joint team on Monday, December 16, 2024.
