The Launch Of The Logo Of The Ministry Of Culture, Menbud Fadli Zon Affirms Commitment To The Advancement Of National Culture

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia today held an event entitled "Indonesian Cultural Friendly: Echoes of Indonesian Culture" in Jakarta. This event was attended by the ranks of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, ambassadors of friendly countries such as the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Peru, Cuba, and a number of representatives of other countries.

This event became an important milestone in strengthening the role of culture as a national identity as well as Indonesia's contribution to world harmony. Minister of Culture Fadli Zon in his remarks emphasized the importance of culture as the main pillar of national development.

"The 1945 Constitution article 32 firmly mandates that the state advances Indonesia's national culture in the midst of world civilization, by guaranteeing people's freedom in maintaining and developing its culture. For this reason, the Ministry of Culture is here as a tangible manifestation of the country's commitment to advancing national culture," said Fadli Zon in his speech.

One of the important moments in this event is the launch of the official logo of the Ministry of Culture. This logo is the result of a competition attended by 3,201 participants from all provinces in Indonesia. Minister of Culture Fadli Zon directly launched the new logo that carries the feel of gold and brown, symbolizing welfare, tradition, strength, and cultural heritage.

According to Fadli Zon, the logo design is designed to represent the diversity of Indonesian culture that is established harmoniously and strengthens the spirit of national unity. "This logo symbolizes the spirit of advancing national culture, strengthening the identity of the nation, and strengthening Indonesian unity in the midst of diversity," explained Fadli Zon.

The Minister of Culture also expressed his appreciation to the competition participants, the jury, and all parties involved in the logo selection process. This logo is expected to be a symbol of joint determination to preserve Indonesian culture and make it a pride at the international level.

In addition to the logo launch, this event is also coupled with the celebration of the success of three Indonesian cultural heritages which have just been recognized on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The three heritages are:
