So Witness, Bima Arya: Rizieq Refuses To Deliver Swab Test Results By Mail

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya mentioned Rizieq Shihab had written to him and told him not to deliver the results of swab polymerase chain reaction (PCR) at UMMI Bogor Hospital.

The statement was delivered by Bima Arya when he witnessed the trial results of ummi hospital swab test for the accused, Rizieq Shihab, Hanif Alatas, and dr Andi Tatat.

Initially, Bima explained early information about Rizieq Shihab undergoing treatment at UMMI Bogor Hospital. Then, with that information, he immediately contacted Andi Tatat to confirm it.

Furthermore, on November 26, 2020, Bima visited UMMI Bogor Hospital to really confirm the information of Rizieq's whereabouts in the hospital

"In the evening I went to UMMI Hospital to contact Andi Tatat and the board of directors, again said, one thing we make sure there is no crowd and confirm his condition habib Rizieq delivered healthy condition," said Bima Arya in a hearing at the East Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, April 14.

"And I reiterate the desire to clarify the condition of habib through the swab process because there is information that we get him through close contact with people who are declared positive, among others, the Mayor of Depok and I convey to the doctor Andi Tatat. And agreed to deliver for pcr test," continued Bima.

It's just that, a few moments after the Friday prayer time, Bima mentioned getting information if Rizieq had undergone a PCR test. The information was confirmed directly to Andi Tatat.

"I contacted, doctor Andi Tatat also claimed it without coordination with the doctor Andi Tatat, and I asked for prokes guarded. And I reprimanded Andi Tatat how could the head of the house skait not know the events in his hospital," he said.

Bima also explained that he had met Hanif Alatas. In the meeting discussed the request for Rizieq to undergo a swab test once again. But the request was immediately denied.

"Then at night, Friday night I came there (Ummi Hospital) to meet with Habib Hanif and also doctor Andi Tatat, there delivered habib refused to do swab. I can understand that it's okay, as far as there's clarity on who did the swab and also we can get a report. We do not have to report to the public, at least we get this report, we get a report in accordance with my authority that every day gets a report from the hospital," he said.

In fact, the next day Bima got a letter from Rizieq Shihab. It's about refusing to deliver pcr test results.

"We're waiting for Saturday. But I received Habib Rizieq's letter to me, but it was delivered to the open.

An undying written letter to convey the results of the PCR swab. Typed, signed, I got a copy, addressed to Wali Lota," said Bima.

Rizieq Shihab was charged with spreading false news or hoaxes that caused trouble. This false news is related to his health condition that was confirmed positive for COVID-19 while in UMMI Hospital Bogor, West Java.

Thus, in this case Rizieq is suspected by Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2), Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning The Regulation of Criminal Law and/or Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) of Law No. 4 of 1984 concerning Infectious Disease Outbreaks and/or Article 216 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st Penal Code.
