JAKARTA - Gibran Hanan (8) a boy with special needs (cash) was reported missing in the Kembangan area, West Jakarta. Gibran Hanan's disappearance was reported to the police so a search was carried out.

After a series of investigations and searches, Gibran was finally found safe by the police and the community on Thursday 12 December.

Kembangan Police Chief Kompol Moch Taufik Iksan said that initially Gibran was found under the South Meruya toll road near the Mercu Buana Campus by a resident named Ari Irmawan.

"When found, Gibran was with an unknown grandfather. Worried about Gibran's blind condition and unable to explain who he was, Pak Ari took the initiative to bring him home to protect him from a crime," he said when confirmed, Thursday, December 12.

Furthermore, the resident named Ari coordinated with the Head of RW 08 to disseminate information on the discovery of children through WhatsApp and Facebook groups.

This effort also received a quick response. A resident named Rizal, recognized Gibran's face from the announcement of the loss previously posted by the police. Rizal is Gibran's neighbor.

"Pak Ari then contacted the child's parents number and reported the discovery to us," he said.

Furthermore, the pick-up was carried out accompanied by the ranks of Binmas and Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police. Gibran was finally handed over to his biological father named M. Ridwan.
