Prabowo Orders Police To Ensure Christmas And New Year's Security

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto ordered the police to carry out security for Christmas and New Year's Day well.

"Nataru (Christmas and New Year) is in sight. You will be busy, you will be tired, (so) carry out (security) well," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 11.

This was conveyed by President Prabowo while leading the 2024 Regional Unit Head Apple at the Police Academy, Semarang, Central Java.

The President said that maintaining security and order in a country can support stability and a business climate that will have an impact on joint sustainability.

"Security, order supports the stability of the business climate. The business climate gets investment and investment creates jobs," said Prabowo.

Therefore, Prabowo continued, the nation and people really need the presence and role of the police.

"The nation and the people really need skilled police," said the Head of State.

The Apple of the Head of the 2024 Regional Unit was attended by 571 participants, consisting of the main officials of the National Police Headquarters, the regional police chiefs, and the police chief.

The theme carried on this apple is "Polri Yang Presisi Dalam mendukung Agenda Nasional Tahun 2024 guna Mewujudkan Keamanan Dalam Negeri".
