JAKARTA - Tana Tidung Regent, Ibrahim Ali, received the 2024 Community-Based Total Sanitation Award (STBM) given by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This event was held at the St. Regis Hallroom, Jakarta, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday 10 December.

The award was handed over directly by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Dante Saksono Harbuwono, to Ibrahim Ali.

"Alhamdulillah, I am proud to receive the STBM Award from the Ministry of Health. Tana Tidung is the only representative from North Kalimantan to receive this award," said Ibrahim Ali.

Tana Tidung Regency (KTT) is the only area from North Kalimantan to win this prestigious award. This achievement is recognized as inseparable from the strong cross-sectoral commitment, ranging from the Health Office, Bappeda and Litbang, to the Public Works Office and the local community.

"We would like to thank all those who have supported, including the sub-district heads, village heads, Tana Tidung Sehat Forum, and people who are actively maintaining sanitation in our area," said Ibrahim.

The Regent hopes that this award can be a motivation to continue to improve the quality of sanitation and public health in Tana Tidung.

"Hopefully this will be a big step towards realizing a healthier and more prosperous environment for all," he added.

The 2024 STBM Award is proof that cross-sectoral cooperation and community active role are the keys to the success of development in the regions. Tana Tidung is now committed to continuing efforts to create better sanitation in the future.
