BANDA ACEH - President Prabowo Subianto received the gathering of the candidate pair of Governors and Deputy Governors of Aceh who bagged the most votes from Muzakir Manaf - Fadhlullah Mualem - Dek Fadh, at the State Palace, Jakarta.

"This meeting took place at the State Palace, after the congregational maghrib prayer between Prabowo Subianto and Mualem - Dek Fadh," said Spokesperson for the Aceh Winning Board Mualem - Dek Fadh, Mahfudz Y Loethan, in Banda Aceh, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 9.

During the meeting, President Prabowo congratulated Muzakir Manaf and Fadhlullah on the victory. It is hoped that the former GAM commander can carry out the mandate well for the welfare of the Acehnese people.

"The meeting lasted about an hour, and discussed a lot regarding the direction of Aceh's development in the future for the better," he said.

During the meeting, President Prabowo was accompanied by Hadi Prasetyo, the State Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya, the Secretary of the Red and White Cabinet, and T Irsyadi MD.

Mahfudz said that this meeting showed the seriousness of the Central Government to pay attention to Aceh as one of the priority provinces for future development.

Then, he continued, Prabowo also emphasized his commitment to supporting the leadership of Mualem-Dek Fadh in building a more advanced and prosperous Aceh.

The President, he continued, also reminded the importance of building harmonious relations between local and central governments. Hoping that Aceh can be an example of a province that is able to optimize regional potential for the welfare of its people.

Meanwhile, Mualem and Dek Fadh expressed their gratitude for President Prabowo's support and attention.

They are committed to working hard and ensuring that the vision and mission carried during the campaign as well as the vision and mission of Prabowo - Gibran can be realized properly in the land of rencong.

"We are ready to carry out this mandate and will try our best to advance Aceh, in accordance with the expectations of the President and all Acehnese people," said Mualem.

For information, the Independent Election Commission (KIP) Aceh has determined the recapitulation of the simultaneous regional election vote count results for the 2024 Aceh Governor and Deputy Governor Election (Pilgub).

In the plenary meeting, KIP Aceh determined candidate pair number 01 Bustami - Fadhil Rahmi to get 1,309,375 votes. As well as pair number 02 Muzakir Manaf - Dek Fadh won 1,492,846 votes.
