SOLO - Candidate for Deputy Governor of West Java Erwan Setiawan received advice about the harmony of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

During his visit to Jokowi's residence in Solo, Central Java, Monday, Erwan said that Jokowi had conveyed a lot.

"Especially because West Java is the largest voter area, the largest population," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 9.

He admitted that he was asked by Jokowi to maintain harmony in West Java.

"So that it is peaceful, cool. God willing, I will follow the way he used to lead in DKI Jakarta and Indonesia," he said.

Regarding development in West Java, he said, it would prioritize the welfare of the community.

"Development will reach villages, integrated from provinces, cities/regencies, to villages," said Erwan.

The visit of the son of the Persib Bandung figure Umuh Muchtar this time coincided with the Persib team who will compete against PSS Sleman at the Solo Manahan Stadium, tonight.

"This is also our reply visit, previously the Vice President stopped at our house in Tanjungsari, Sumedang," he said.

Meanwhile, Jokowi congratulated Erwan Setiawan.

"Congratulations to Pak Erwan as Deputy Governor of West Java with Pak Dedi Mulyadi for the 2024-2029 period because whatever West Java is the province with the highest number of voters," he said.
