KPU Starts Recapitulation Of West Java Gubernatorial Elections At The Provincial Level Tomorrow

The General Election Commission (KPU) of West Java, will carry out a recapitulation of the vote count results at the provincial level for the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada, starting on December 8.

"At the provincial level, it is planned for tomorrow from December 8, 2024 to December 9, 2024, God willing, the opening of the plenary recapitulation at 13.00 WIB for the provincial level," said Acting (Plt) Chairman of the West Java KPU Aneu Nursifah as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 7.

Aneu said that during the coordination meeting, his party invited representatives of candidate pairs and West Java stakeholders in the hope that the recapitulation would run smoothly.

"We hope that the involvement of all parties to support the implementation of the plenary recapitulation tomorrow for the vote count can run well and smoothly," he said.

Meanwhile, West Java KPU Commissioner Adi Saputro said, in terms of security, his party had coordinated with the TNI/Polri some time ago, so that in the process tomorrow it will run safely.

"We have coordinated from a few days ago so that in the implementation of this service meeting it can run conducive and safe," said Adi.

Adi also said that during the recapitulation process, in accordance with the agreed rules, only a few representatives could be in the recapitulation room.

"It's just that the participants are only the Regency/City KPU, Provincial Bawaslu, and Provincial Paslon. And we limit the two candidate pairs each, the witnesses can enter the hall. The recapitulation itself is carried out, in the hall of the KPU Office," he said.
