Ganjar Pranowo: Former ApBD Ratification Nyogok, Now No More

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said there are no more bribery practices in his region, let alone those related to the ratification of the Regional Budget (APBD). But this kind of thing used to happen between the legislature and the executive.

"Ratification of apbd accountability that used to be nyogok, sorry sir, no more that. It is better for us to fight than just a matter like that," Ganjar said at the launch of stranas PK 2021-2022 corruption prevention action that was aired on YouTube KPK RI, Tuesday, April 13.

This, he continued, can happen because he often invites kpk directly involved in the budget ratification process. He said that the involvement is one of the strategies so that there is no complexity in the legalization process.

Because according to Ganjar, there are KPK parties who participate in monitoring so that easily dprd members give approval to the report.

"So our strategy is simple, when there is a deadlock to communicate about a complicated budget involving many parties, we ask Mr. Firli's permission," he said.

"With the sitting of kpk accompanied it turned out that all the process went smoothly. Because I told you there is a KPK here want to see. Then the process is no longer under the table, there is no more under the tablecloth, so all can be seen on the table," he said.

Ganjar, PDI Perjuangan politician also mentioned about corruption prevention efforts that can be done with the integration system of state budget and apbd. This, he said, could start in 2022.

However, to realize this, of course, every region needs to prepare a state budget synchronization with apbd in 2020. "It feels like the whole area must prepare for this year. Until now we are preparing the 2022 RapBD, the planning system can really be integrated," he concluded.
