There Is No Restorative Justice In The Case Of Child Murder Against Parents In Lebak Bulus

JAKARTA - The police ensured that the case against MAS (14) could not end peacefully or restorative justice (RJ) because the case that ensnared SMK students had killed another person.

Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, emphasized that restorative justice can be done if the victim only suffers from injuries.

MAS is included in the category of children in conflict with law (ABH). He was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.

Not only that, MAS is also applied to Articles of Domestic Violence (KDRT), namely Article 44 of the Criminal Code paragraphs 2 and 3.

A teenage boy with the initials MAS (14) stabbed his father and grandmother to death. The unfortunate incident occurred at the Bona Indah Park Housing Block B6, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Saturday 30 November 2024 at 01.00 WIB.

The dead victims were their grandmother with the initials RM (69) and her father with the initials APW (40) after being stabbed with a knife.

Meanwhile, his mother, with the initials AP (40) who was also a victim of stabbing, suffered serious injuries. Currently AP is undergoing treatment at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.

Over time, the victim and the alleged perpetrator turned out to be asking each other about the news. Even the alleged perpetrator prays that AP can recover soon.

Meanwhile, his mother, AP, who is lying in Fatmawati Hospital, is still in good condition and has asked about the condition of his son, MAS, as the first response after waking up.
