Amnesty's Findings: 15 Israeli Attacks Kill 334 Gazans Not Targeting The Military

Amnesty International reported that from Israel's efforts to attack Gaza, there were findings of attacks without military targets but killed civilians, including women and children.

Amnesty's report revealed 15 Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed 334 civilians including 141 children from 7 October 2023 to 20 April 2024, not targeting military targets.

"There is absolutely no doubt that Israel has a military target. However, the presence of military targets does not eliminate the possibility of genocide," Callamard said in a statement on Thursday, December 5, quoted by AFP.

The latest report by the human rights organization (HAM) headquartered in London, England also states that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

Amnesty said his report was based on inhumane statements and genocide by Israeli government and military officials. Including footage of satellite imagery documenting destruction, fieldwork, and field reports from Gazans.

"Month after Month, Israel has treated Palestinians in Gaza as a subhuman group that does not deserve human rights and dignity, showing its intention to physically destroy them," Callamard said.

"Our burdensome discovery should be a call to build for the international community: this is genocide. This must stop now," he added.

Israel's invasion of Gaza began on October 27, 2023, under the pretext of destroying Palestinian independence fighters, Hamas. However, this Israeli aggression has caused a flood of Palestinian civilian lives

As of Tuesday December 3, Gaza's Ministry of Health revealed 44,502 Palestinians were killed in Gaza after Israel's invasion.

However, Israel has repeatedly denied allegations of committing genocide by claiming Hamas used the Palestinian people as human shields.

In addition to tens of thousands of deaths, physical and psychological trauma, Israeli attacks on Gaza have also led Palestinians to "melnutrition, hunger, and disease", and are threatened with "planned slow deaths."

The countries that transfer weapons to Israel violate their obligation to prevent genocide based on conventions and risk being accomplices, Callamard stressed.
