KPU Sets Dedie-Jenal Superior In The 2024 Bogor City Pilkada

BOGOR The General Election Commission (KPU) of Bogor City officially appointed the Dedie Rachim-Jenal Mutaqin pair as the winner of the 2024 Bogor City Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

This result was announced in an open plenary meeting held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, evening.

The chairman of the Bogor City KPU, M. Habibi Zaenal Arifin, said that candidate pair number 3, Dedie Rachim-Jenal Mutaqin, won the most votes with a total of 183,500 votes.

They are ahead of four other candidate pairs, namely: candidate pair number 1 Sendi Fardiansyah-Melli Darsa (48,175 votes), candidate pair number 2 Atang Trisnanto-Anna Allivia (136,961 votes), candidate pair number Rena Da Frina-Achmad Teddy Risandi (58,415 votes) and candidate pair number 5 Raendi Rayendra-Eka Maulana (71,736 votes).

"Paslon number 3 excels with 183,500 votes," said Habibi.

In addition to the Bogor City Pilkada, the results of the vote count for the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Java have also been announced at the city level. However, the official determination is still waiting for the provincial level recapitulation.

Based on preliminary results, candidate pair number 4, Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan, received the most votes with a total of 278,039 votes, and followed by Paslon number 3: Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Akbar Habibie (147,155 votes), Paslon number 2: Jeje Wiradinata-Ronal Surapradja (37,145 votes), Paslon number 1: Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwinatrina (35,888 votes).

"The one who excels in the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Java is candidate pair number 4, Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan," explained Habibi.

Habibi added that after the determination of the results, the Bogor City KPU would wait for three days to find out whether there was a dispute over the election results submitted to the Constitutional Court (MK).

"If in three days there is no dispute over results, the KPU can determine the elected candidate according to the direction of the Indonesian KPU through the West Java Provincial KPU," he said.

With this result, the people of Bogor City are just waiting for the official determination of the winning pair to start a new leadership period.
