Security Of The 2024 Pilkada Recapitulation, Polda Metro Deploys 800 Joint Personnel

A total of 800 joint personnel were deployed to secure the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) recapitulation process in the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ady Ary Syam Indradi said the security scheme carried out was in the form of patrols throughout the region.

"The deployment of 800 security personnel," said Ade to reporters, Tuesday, December 3.

Apart from Jakarta, Polda Metro Jaya is known to have helped secure the implementation of regional elections in parts of West Java and Banten.

This is because several cities in the two provinces, such as Bekasi, Depok, and Tangerang, are included in the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"The details of security personnel from the Jakarta Poswil Task Force are 300 personnel, the West Java Popwil Task Force is 300 personnel, and the Banten Task Force is 200 personnel," he said.

In securing the recapitulation, the scheme that will be implemented is to prioritize activities in a preemptive, preventive, and law enforcement manner.

On the other hand, Ade also appealed to all parties, from the community to supporters of candidate pairs to maintain order. Avoid actions or statements that can cause disturbances in the recapitulation process.

"To all parties to always maintain security and order so that voice recapitulation activities can run safely and in an orderly manner," said Ade.
