The police investigated the case of Persijap Jepara supporters beating residents of Ngembal Kulon Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency.

"The victim's family also made a report, so the team is taking action," said Kudus Police Chief AKBP Ronni Boonic in Kudus, Monday, December 2, as reported by Antara.

He revealed that the victim's condition with the initials IPA (23) began to improve. However, to ascertain the condition of the victim whether he suffered internal or serious injuries, the Kudus Police facilitated a CT-scan examination.

"There are reports or not, the alleged abuse case is purely criminal, so it must be investigated. Meanwhile, the perpetrators must also be prosecuted to prevent the case from happening again," he said.

Moreover, he said, the presence of opposing supporters who came to the match venue when his favorite team had an away match was clearly prohibited, thus violating the rules previously agreed.

He admitted that he regretted the persecution that resulted in the injuries of the Kudus residents.

The injuries suffered by the victim were injuries to the lips, neck and head. The victim is currently at home, but will be taken back to the hospital for further examination.

He also hopes that there will be an evaluation because the supporters from Jepara also pocket match tickets when his favorite team travels to Persipa Pati headquarters on Sunday, December 1, even though it is clear that there is a ban on opposing supporters.

Kudus Police deployed security personnel to prevent supporters of the Persijap Jepara team from heading to Pati through the Kudus area.

In fact, he said, every location that became a supporter route from Jepara to Pati was alerted by officers to prevent them from continuing their journey to Pati.

"It turned out that when they returned home after the match, the number reached thousands because the officers who were escorting their return who were driving a long vehicle reached 3 kilometers," he said.
