287 TPS Again Holds Voting For The 2024 Pilkada

JAKARTA - KPU chairman Mochammad Afifuddin revealed that there are around 287 polling stations (TPS) that will again vote on the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections.

Based on KPU data on Friday (29/11) at 10.00 WIB, there were 46 polling stations that would re-vote (PSU), 231 polling stations (PSS) and 10 polling stations held further voting (PSL).

"Based on Friday, November 29, 2024. Regional data and polling stations carry out follow-up votes, PSL and PSU due to disaster-affected data based on data per 10.00 WIB earlier. The number of polling stations with PSS 231 TPS, PSL 10 TPS and PSU 46 TPS," said Afifuddin as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 29.

He said the data would continue to grow along with recommendations from the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and events that occurred in the regions.

Afifuddin also explained that there were several reasons for the implementation of PSU, PSS and PSL. First, natural disasters at 119 polling stations.

Second, security disturbances. Third, administrative errors or procedures by the voting organization group (KPPS).

Fourth, voters who do not register or do not exercise their right to vote. Fifth, there is a recommendation from Bawaslu.

9. East Kalimantan: Balikpapan (1) and Samarinda (1)

10. North Kalimantan: Malinau (1)

11. Riau Islands: Tanjungpinang City (1)

12. Maluku: Southwest Maluku (1)

13. North Maluku: Ternate City (1)

14. Papua: Yapen Islands (1)

15. Southwest Papua: Maybrat (2)

16. West Sulawesi: Mamasa (1) and Pasangkayu (1)

17. South Sulawesi: Tanakaraja Regency (1)
