Philippine Fugitive Hector Aldwin Returned To Indonesia, Exchanged Online Judi DPO Handoyo Salman

JAKARTA - NCB-Interpol Indonesia Secretary Brigadier General Pol Untung Widyatmoko said the repatriation of fugitive Interpol Filipino citizen Hector Aldwin Pantollana (HAP) who was secured in Bali was in exchange for a fugitive in the Indonesian online gambling case, Handoyo Salman (HS).

"There is already HS, yes. For example, colleagues follow, Handoyo Salman," said Untung during a press conference for HAP's repatriation to the Philippines at the Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 26, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to Untung, the National Police is currently aggressively hunting for fugitives in online gambling cases in Indonesia hiding in other countries.

"We frankly exchange detainees for perpetrators who are currently hot issues from us, namely online gamblers," he said.

It is known that HAP is a fugitive from the Philippine Police for running away from the prosecution process. HAP is suspected of committing a criminal act of scamming a casino in his country.

HAP was successfully secured by the Directorate General of Immigration at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali on November 9, 2024.

HAP will be repatriated to the Philippines on Wednesday 27 November to continue the legal responsibility process for the crimes he committed.

Meanwhile, Handoyo Salman (HS) has been sent back to Indonesia via Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten on Friday 22 November

HS, who is a suspect in an online gambling crime case on the W88 website, was successfully repatriated by the Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit after being arrested by the Philippine security forces on October 31, 2024.

Kasubdit 2 Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri Kombes Pol Jeffri Dian Juniarta explained, HS acts as a special regional manager for Indonesia, as a recipient of deposits and withdrawing funds (withdraw) on the W88 website.

"Bareskrim Polri menjemput DPO kami atas nama HS alias Ahan yang sebelumnya Direktorat Siber Bareskrim Polri telah mengungkap web judi online atau W88 pada bulan Mei, kami telah mengamankan tujuh tersangka yang saat ini proses penyidikan sudah sampai pada sidang pengadilan di Pengadilan Negeri Batam," ujarnya di Tangerang, Banten, Jumat 22 November dini hari.
