Rocky Gerung Visits Pramono Anung H-1's Residence Of The Regional Head Election, Alludes To The Mulyono Movement

JAKARTA - Academickus Rocky Gerung visited the residence of candidate for governor of Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung the day before the 2024 Pilkada voting day.

Rocky arrived at Pramono's house, Jalan H. Ambas, South Cipete, Cilandak, South Jakarta at 13.00 WIB with economist Awil Rezky. The meeting between Rocky and Pramono lasted for half an hour.

After the meeting, Rocky revealed that he met Pramono limited to providing moral support in facing the regional head election contestation. Because Rocky has been friends with Pramono for decades.

"I give a kind of moral support, so that this process can be established. Right, everyone wants a fair competition. But it doesn't seem like there is a fair competition. So I want to help Pram so that it can be made possible in a civilized way tomorrow's election without any intervention," said Rocky after meeting Pramono, Tuesday, November 26.

Rocky highlighted the potential abuse of officers in the 2024 Pilkada. The founder of the Setara Institute is also worried about the political problems carried out by the figures to win one of the candidate pairs in the Jakarta Pilkada.

"We'll see how Mulyono moves to limit ideas about democracy," said Rocky.

Rocky hopes that the public can be aware of disturbances that have the potential to occur during the regional elections. "I want the public of Jakarta to understand that there is difficulty in passing a person because power is still using the apparatus," he added.

For information, voting day will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The pairs of candidates for regional heads have carried out a campaign for two months, from September 25 to November 23, 2024. Then, the quiet period lasts for 3 days on November 24 to 26, 2024.
