JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has opened a new investigation regarding the online gambling case involving employees of the Ministry of Communication and Digital or Komdigi. Currently, elements of alleged corruption are being investigated.
"We are also investigating allegations of corruption committed by unscrupulous officers in Komdigi," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto to reporters, Monday, November 25.
In the investigation process, a series of witness examinations have been carried out. At least 18 people have been questioned.
