JAKARTA - Candidate for governor and deputy governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustiar Sabran-Edy Pratowo, has skyrocketed in electability. Poltracking Indonesia even said that this pair could win the political contestation based on a survey in mid-November 2024.

Poltracking detailed that Agustiar-Edy Pratowo was chosen by many young millennials, mature millennials, Generation X, Baby Boomers, and Silent Gen. The level of voter confidence in this pair is also high because 66.7 percent have not changed their minds.

Furthermore, Poltracking also said that Agustiar was the most elected candidate for governor in the survey.
Its electability reached 43.3 percent, followed by Nadalsyah Koyem with 18.3 percent; Willy Midel Yoseph 17.8 percent; and Abdul Razak who received 2.8 percent.
Likewise, Edy Pratowo, whose electability reached 40.6 percent, followed by Habib Ismail bin Yahya with 18.9 percent; Supian Hadi 17.4 percent; and Sri Suwanto 2.8 percent.
This survey was conducted by Poltracking Indonesia on November 14-20, 2024 with a stratified multistage random sampling method. The sample in this survey is 1,200 respondents with a margin of error +/- 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
Survey clusters reach 14 regencies/cities in Central Kalimantan proportionally based on data on the number of the 2024 Permanent Voter List (DPT). Meanwhile, the stratification of this survey is the proportion of voter gender.
Data collection is carried out by trained interviewers through face-to-face interviews by using application technology for randomly selected respondents. Each interviewer interviewed 10 respondents for each elected village/kelurahan.
