A Boy In South Jakarta Dies In A Water Channel After Playing Soccer

JAKARTA - A boy with the initials FH (11) was found dead at Gg Jawa RT 06/08, Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel). This happened after the boy slipped and entered the water channel leading to the Ciliwung River.

PIC BPBD Kel Lenteng Agung, Abdul Syukur said the incident occurred on Thursday, November 21, in the afternoon. Then, found in the Simatupang TB garbage filtering, on Friday, November 22, at 04.35 WIB.

Currently the victim has been found, at SSTBS Tanjung Barat at 04.35 WIB. He was found in the Simatupang TB Garbage Saringan, Abdul when confirmed, Friday, November 22.

Abdul explained that the incident began when the victim and his peers were playing soccer on Thursday, November 21, at 14.30 WIB, even though it was raining.

However, after playing, the victim wanted to return home, he slipped until he finally entered a water ditch leading to the Ciliwung River, Jakarta.

"Yes, so when I came home, I played futsal when it was raining and the condition of the sewer discharge increased. they were stuck in a ditch. One person was carried away by the sewer current which went straight to the ciliwung river," he said.

The officer who received the information immediately searched from the point of drowning to the water flow in the Ciluwung River, Jakarta.

"The search at the initial location of the incident until the river flow to the Ciliwung river was finally found at 04.35 WIB this morning," he said.

Currently, the victim is being taken to the nearest hospital for further action. Later they will be taken to the funeral home for immediate burial.

Based on the video received, the victim was found filtered by Simatupang TB waste. During the evacuation process, the victim was transported with heavy equipment prepared by BPBD South Jakarta.
