Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Holds Plenary Election For The Election Of The KPK Capim, Setyo Budianti Unggul Becomes A Candidate For Chair

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR held an election plenary meeting and the determination of 5 KPK leaders as well as elected the chairman of the KPK.

Commission III of the DPR will also select 5 KPK Supervisory Board for the Term of Office in 2024-2029.

This election and determination was made after Commission III of the DPR finished holding a fit and proper test on 10 KPK Capims and 10 KPK Dewas Candidates which lasted for four days starting Monday, November 18.

"In accordance with the secretariat report, the plenary meeting of Commission III was attended by 44 people from 47 members from 8 factions," said Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Habiburokhman in the Commission III room, Thursday, November 21.

In the counting of votes for the KPK Capim election, Setyo Budianto was temporarily ahead followed by Fitroh Rochcahyanto, Johanis Tanak, Agus Joko Pramono, and Ibnu Basuki Widodo.

Currently, the vote count for the election for the KPK Capim is still ongoing. After the Capim calculation, Commission III of the DPR will calculate the vote acquisition for the candidate for the KPK Council.

In the midst of the calculation, one member of Commission III of the DPR from the PKS faction arrived and cast his voice. That way, there were 45 members of Commission III of the DPR from 8 factions present.
