Today, Commission III of the House of Representatives Announces Leadership Candidates and Candidates for Members of the KPK Supervisory Board

JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR) is reported to be announcing the results of the fit and proper test for the candidates for leadership and members of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Supervisory Board (Dewas) on Thursday, November 21 morning.

Therefore, the fit and proper test for 10 candidates for members of the KPK Supervisory Board will be completed on Wednesday, November 20 from morning to night.

"Yes (the announcement) maybe (tomorrow) morning, maybe (tomorrow) morning. Yes, we'll see tomorrow," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Ahmad Sahroni when met at Commission III of the House of Representatives, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday night.

Sahroni said that so far there are several names that are considered competent and qualified to become members of the KPK Supervisory Board. However, the figures will only be announced tomorrow morning.

"There are several good ones. Later we will see from all that is available, then we will choose the best one, who has strong integrity to lead this great institution," he said.

Sahroni ensured that all factions were involved in decision-making according to the applicable mechanism.

"Yes, later all factions will be involved. That's why all members of the DPR in Commission III can ask questions, not just from one faction. However, all members of the DPR who are inside," he concluded.

It is known that Commission III of the DPR today began conducting a fit and proper test on 10 candidates for members of the KPK Supervisory Board. Commission III of the DPR has also completed the fit and proper test on 10 candidates for KPK leadership on Tuesday (11/19/2024).

There are 10 candidates for members of the KPK Supervisory Board who underwent the fit and proper test, namely Mirwazi Elly Fariani, Wisnu Baroto, Benny Jozua Mamoto, Gusrizal, Sumpeno, Chisca Mirawati, Hamdi Hassyarbaini, Heru Kreshna Reza, and Iskandar MZ.

Of the 10 KPK candidates who were tested, four people have taken the stage on Monday (11/18/2024), namely Setyo Budiyanto, Poengky Indarti, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, and Michael Rolandi Cesnanta.

Meanwhile, six other KPK candidates have taken the fit and proper test on Tuesday (11/19/2024) at Commission III of the DPR. They include Ida Budhiati, Ibnu Basuki Widodo, Johanis Tanak, Djoko Poerwanto, Ahmad Alamsyah Saragih, and Agus Joko Pramono.
