The Issue Of Sexual Harassment, The Winning Team Of Heri Koswara-Sholihin Reluctant To Respond

JAKARTA - A woman with the initials IL (53) admitted to being a victim of one of the political party administrators at the DPC of Bekasi City, West Java. IL admitted that the incident occurred in 2023.

Responding to this, the Head of the Legal Division Winning Team for the candidate pair for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, Heri Koswara and Sholihin, Iqbal Daut Hutapea, was reluctant to respond. His party emphasized that they would not assume that the alleged report led to Sholihin.

"We don't want to talk about assumptions. Earlier, it was said that there was a report from IL to Sholihin. Until now we have not received a report so we don't want to guess," he said.

He also emphasized that he did not know who the police report was, leading to who the political party management was.

"We have to talk about facts, so we have to do that next time, we'll see the progress," he said.

Previously, the victim's attorney, Ridwan Anthony Taufan, said that the incident began when IL attended a political party event at a hotel in Bekasi. IL was also asked by the alleged perpetrator to book a hotel room.

"The victim was asked to order a hotel and then paid for by the victim with the initial suspect saying 'pay the hotel first later' and the hotel was indeed replaced by the alleged perpetrator," explained Ridwan, Monday, November 18.

Long story short, the alleged perpetrator came to the room, invited him to chat and immediately sexually assaulted him by forcibly striping the victim.

"The suspect asked about the agenda for tomorrow's activity, then the alleged perpetrator acted strangely by sitting and moving to the bed and hugging and committing harassment," he said.

The victim tried to fight back but was threatened by the alleged perpetrator so that he could only surrender.
