The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a socialization and supervision of corruption prevention activities with the Bogor City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), Tuesday, November 12.
The activity, which was held in the plenary session of the Bogor City DPRD, was attended by the Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, Deputy Chair IM. Rusli Prihatvy, Deputy Chair II, Zenal Abidin and Deputy Chair III Dadang Iskandar Danubrata along with all members of the Bogor City DPRD.
In this activity, Brigadier General Bahtiar Ujang Purnama as Director of Kasup Region II together with Director of Korsup Region II, Arief Nurcahyo explained the corruption prevention program in the form of explanations for corruption-prone points, Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) and thematic activities, leaders and several DPRD members also asked about steps to prevent corruption.
Ujang hopes that from this activity the Bogor City DPRD will be able to realize the main ideas (Pokir) of the DPRD which are accountable and free from corruption.
"We focus on improving governance with our strategic partners. This is part of the prevention which is currently a new goal of the existence of the KPK as a prevention agency as well," said Ujang.
The chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, appreciated the steps taken by the KPK which chose the Bogor City DPRD as a stakeholder or partner to be given supervision and assistance as well as socialization of integrated corruption prevention.
Openly, Adit also said that the DPRD was ready to support corruption prevention measures carried out by the KPK through MCP.
"God willing, we from the DPRD will be committed to supporting the KPK," said Adit.
At the same location, Deputy Chairman I of the Bogor City DPRD asked for input from the KPK regarding the discourse of transitioning subsidies to BisKita operations and privatizing BisKita management in Bogor City and the existence of BUMD.
