All Landslide Victims Buried By Landslides In Purworejo Found

PURWOREJO - The joint SAR team finally found and evacuated all landslide victims buried by a large stone with a diameter of 7 meters in Plipiran Village, Bruno District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, Wednesday, November 20.

Head of the Cilacap SAR Office M Abdullah said the joint SAR team was looking for victims by dividing the search location into two sectors.

Finally, the last victim named Winda Wahyuningsih (38) was found by the joint SAR team.

The victim, on behalf of Winda Wahyuningsih, was found on the right side of three other victims. It is estimated that at the time of the incident the victim was cooking in the kitchen. The victim was then taken to Dr. Tjitrowardojo Hospital Purworejo for medical treatment.

Previously, on Tuesday 19 November at 16.30 WIB, there was a landslide caused by heavy rain. A large rock landslide and hit a house belonging to Subur, a resident in Peniron Hamlet RT 02 RW 03, Plipiran Village, Bruno District, Purworejo.

Four people became victims in the incident. All the victims were found dead buried by a large stone in the building they lived in.
