President Prabowo Leaves For England After Attending Brazil's G20 Summit

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto left for England, Tuesday (19/11) evening, after attending the G20 Summit at Rio de Janerio, Brazil.

Presiden Prabowo meninggalkan Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, dari Bandara Base Aera do Galeao, Brasil, sekitar pukul 17.30 waktu setempat.

The President was seen boarding the presidential plane accompanied by Foreign Minister Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

President Prabowo is seen wearing a white shirt with a black coat and a navy blue hat.

Previously, President Prabowo attended the entire series of activities of the G20 Summit in Brazil as well as bilateral meetings with a number of G20 member heads of state and UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutterias on November 18-19 2024.

A number of G20 Heads of State who previously held a bilateral agenda with President Prabowo included Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hasan, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and French President Emmanuel Macron.

In addition, President Prabowo also met with MIKTA leaders (Mexico, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, and Australia), the Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum, and attended the agenda of the G20 Summit at Museo de Arte Moderna (Museum of Modern and Art).

After leaving Brazil, the Head of State immediately left for England. In England, President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with British King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

President Prabowo is optimistic that he can attract investment in a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This was conveyed by Prabowo on the sidelines of his activities attending the G20 Summit in Brazil, Sunday (17/11).

"I'll be back from here, I'll go to the UK to meet up on economic issues as well, maybe we can attract investment," he said.
