JAKARTA - Armed criminal groups (KKB) are again spreading terror on Papuan soil. They shot a teacher and set fire to several educational buildings.
The shooting took place in Julukoma Village, Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, on Thursday, April 8.
The victim was Oktovianus Rayo, 42, who was a teacher. He was shot twice while guarding the kiosk at about 09:30 western Indonesia time.
Papua Police Chief Gen. Insp. Mathius D. Fakhiri said based on the investigation of the suspected perpetrators of the shooting Sabinus Waker group was heading to Ilaga at the invitation of Legakak Telenggen.
