The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police confirmed that the legal case that ensnared former Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, was still in progress.

"I make sure the investigation process is still ongoing and the progress is very good," said Director of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 19.

Ade Safri explained that the investigative team is currently still fulfilling the P-19 instructions and the results of coordination with the Public Prosecutor (JPU) to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati).

"The progress of the investigation so far is very good and there are no obstacles or obstacles at all," he said.

Ade Safri also conveyed that effective coordination with the Public Prosecutor to the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office in order to complete the case file and communication and coordination are running very well so far.

"I make sure the handling of the quo case goes professionally, transparently and accountably and is free from all forms of intervention. professional means procedural and complete," said Ade Safri.

Meanwhile, the Head of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Budi Gunawan admitted that the legal case that ensnared Firli Bahuri as a suspect was not easy.

"We really prioritize the aspect of proof, and we do know that it is not easy, and we are just waiting for the progress in the future, we will convey it once it opens," said Budi Gunawan.

BG believes that the National Police is currently working hard to investigate the legal case that dragged Firli as a suspect.

He said the National Police had evidence related to the alleged articles.
