In Front Of The G20 State Leadership, Prabowo Returns To Voice Palestine Peace

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has again voiced peace in the Gaza conflict area, Palestine. This was conveyed by Prabowo when speaking in front of the leaders of the G20 countries in the first session of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Monday, November 18 local time.

Prabowo urged that a ceasefire be carried out immediately in Gaza and in Ukraine which is in conflict.

"We urge an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and in Gaza," Prabowo was quoted as saying by the State Secretariat Press Bureau, Tuesday, November 19 afternoon.

He continued that the world's economic problems cannot be separated from geopolitical dynamics, including the ongoing conflict. Therefore, he urged all members of the G20 to take concrete steps in dealing with the current conflict, in order to achieve peace and stability.

"Only with peace and stability can we overcome poverty and hunger. We also urge G20 countries to use collective force to strengthen multilateral efforts in this matter," Prabowo said.

He also urged G20 countries to take advantage of their collective strength to strengthen multilateral efforts to resolve this conflict.

Also accompanying President Prabowo at this summit were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
