Member Of The DPR F-Golkar Agun Gunandjar Examined By The KPK Regarding The E-KTP Case

JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives from the Golkar Party faction, Agun Gunandjadr Sudarsa, underwent an examination related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of electronic ID cards (e-KTP). He claimed to have been questioned regarding a new suspect in this case.

"Today I received a call as usual, a case 15 years ago, an electronic ID card for a new suspect," Agun told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 19.

Agun does not want to open his mouth about the suspect in question. Likewise, the matter of the substance of the investigator's question.

He only said that this suspect had often been mentioned by the KPK.

"Just asked the Spokesperson. I don't dare to enter the investigation and ask the officer," he said.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika said Agun was examined as a witness. He was questioned to complete the files of the suspects PT and MSH.

The two names are Paulus Tannos who is the President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra and former Member of Commission III of the DPR from the Hanura Faction, Miryam S. Haryani. Of these two names, Paulus Tannos is currently still being pursued because he is on the wanted list (DPO).

Previously reported, this corruption case in the procurement of e-KTP has cost the state up to Rp2.3 trillion if referring to the report of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

This case dragged the names of a number of high-ranking officials in the ministry, such as former Director General of Dukcapil Irman and former official at the Ministry of Home Affairs Sugiharto. In addition, there is also the name of former DPR Speaker Setya Novanto, former member of Commission III of the DPR Hanura Faction, Miryam S Haryani, a former member of Commission III of the DPR Markus Nari.

The KPK last named four new suspects in the e-KTP case in August 2020. They are former members of Commission II of the DPR from the Hanura Party faction, Miryam S Haryani, President Director of the Indonesian State Printing Corporation (PNRI) as well as Chairman of the PNRI Consortium Isnu Edhi Wijaya, Head of the Information Technology Technical Team for the Application of ID cards Husni Fahmi, and President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tanos.
