Denny Sumargo Reports Farhat Abbas About Alleged Threats, Police Start Investigating

JAKARTA - The police are starting to investigate the alleged threat that Denny Sumargo reported against Farhat Abbas to the Polda Metro Jaya. The alleged threat was in the aftermath of Farhat Abbas's statement which said he would beat Denny Sumargo.

"So this is the incident reported by the reporter as the victim's attorney and this will be investigated by fellow investigators," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Tuesday, November 19.

Based on the report data received, the alleged threat began when the reported party or Farhat Abbas stated that Denny Sumargo was an individual who often said rude words.

In addition, Farhat Abbas also said that he would beat Denny Sumargo. He made this statement in front of reporters.

"So according to the reporter's statement, in his report, the reporter as the victim's attorney explained that in a statement made in front of the media, the reported said that the victim used to speak rudely and then the reported party also said that he would beat the victim. For this incident, the victim felt aggrieved," explained Ade.

Meanwhile, the report made by the Denny Sumargo camp also included evidence in the form of video recordings. So, from the report Farhat Abbas is suspected of violating 369 of the Criminal Code regarding threats.
