Ministers Often Disagree, Golkar: Don't Let Jokowi Grumpy Again

JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Andi Harianto Sinulingga reminded President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to ensure the ministers in the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet in accordance with the existing directives. Because, there are still many ministers who often differ in determining policy.

"It should be encouraged mr. Jokowi who (period, red) is still there almost 4 years to ensure his ministers are in accordance with the existing direction. So grumpy Mr. Jokowi should not be repeated again, enough. Do not be angry anymore but the action (no, red)," said Andi in the discussion 'Evaluation of Cabinet and Political Map 2024' virtually, Saturday, April 10.

For example, said Andi, the ministry of agriculture and the ministry of trade to Bulog related to rice import plans that he considered to issue different policies. Not to mention the economic stagnate.

"Can imagine between one ministry, one institution with another ministry it can issue different views. So we are confused to see, feel and understand, which view represents the government before jokowi finally in his vlog talk import," jelas Andi.

Previously known, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lurfi viewed rice imports need to be done to guarantee the government's rice reserves. He said the policy was taken because the uptake of rice from Perum Bulog was alarming.

Meanwhile, Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo refused to comment much about the planned importation of 1 million tons of rice given by the government to Perum Bulog. Meanwhile, President Director of Perum Bulog Budi Waseso claimed the government's rice reserve stock is still safe.

Based on Bulog records, there are still 883,585 tons of government rice reserves. Moreover, coupled with the rice harvest season that is still running until April. With this condition, Budi believes, the government's rice reserves will reach more than 1 million tons.

"I think the most important thing is to ensure how all government direction programs towards economic independence and so that all government-owned programs can be felt by the community," said Andi.
