10 Days of Overseas Visit, Prabowo Admits He Misses Indonesia

JAKARTA — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto expressed his longing for his homeland, Indonesia. He expressed this on the 10th day of his overseas working visit.

"I actually want to go home soon," said Prabowo, Sunday, November 17 local time.

Prabowo expressed this during an interview with several journalists.

At the same time, Prabowo expressed his focus in the early years of his term as president that he wanted to bring about improvements to the domestic economy in Indonesia.

"Of course, I actually focused on the first months, the first years, focusing on improving the domestic economy," said Prabowo.

So far, Prabowo's overseas trip began in China on November 8, then on November 11 to the United States, continued on November 14 to Peru, and is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Furthermore, Prabowo stated that he would continue his working visit to London and if there is a suitable time he will stop by the Middle East.

"Later when I come back from here I will go to England to meet and talk about economic issues too. It is possible that we can attract investment and from there I will also try to stop by the Middle East. We just have to see if the date is suitable," he added.
