Luhut And Ormas Form The Formation Of Supporting Pramono-Rano In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno received support from Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and his community organization (ormas), Bravo 5 in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

The Board of Trustees of the DPP Bravo 5 Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Sumardi emphasized that the support from a group of retired TNI officers to the PDIP candidate pair was based on Luhut's direction.

"He said'mas, just support Mas Pram'. Soldiers, said that our orders in ordinary soldiers, are upright. So Mr. Luhut as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bravo 5 Fighters ordered bravo 5 volunteers to support Mas Pram and Bang Doel," said Sumardi in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Friday, November 15.

Sumardi emphasized that the Bravo 5 members will go to the field to gain public support for Pramono-Rano.

"That's why we got together to convey the support for the declaration to Mas Pram and Bang Doel to win in DKJ, the gubernatorial election is one round," said Sumardi.

Pramono admitted that he was grateful to have the support of Bravo 5, the mass organization that volunteered Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the 2014 presidential election, Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin in the 2019 presidential election, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

"So far, if Bravo 5 has intervened, the average wins. I believe that it is actually why my electability has increased significantly because these volunteers provide extraordinary support including Bravo 5," explained Pramono.

Meanwhile, Rano Karno admitted that he was confident that he could win the Jakarta gubernatorial election one round after his electability was creeped in several surveys, plus support from Bravo 5.

"Today we are at Bravo 5, thank God. The sooner the campaign period is over, we still have to work to maximize this spirit, hopefully we can say one round," said Rano.
