Mensos Risma Touched By Ntt Nuns While Singing, 'I Work In God's Field'

JAKARTA - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini was greeted by nuns at The Monastery of Princess Reinha Rosari (PRR), Larantuka, NTT. The moment was shared @sahabatkatolik Instagram account, Friday, April 9.

"Social minister Mrs. Risma with the nuns at the PRR San Juan Lebao sisterhood, Larantuka," wrote the @sahabatkatolik account.

In the 0.21 second video footage, Minister Risma is greeted by monks as soon as he enters the room. There was a guitar accompaniment played by one of the nuns.

Risma also seemed moved, clasp her hands on the chest of the sign giving greetings. The nuns continued to wear masks in accordance with health protocols (Prokes).

Mensos Risma's appearance is also in contrast to the monks who wear all-white clothes symbol of self-purity.

Mensos Risma then carried a sash of sarong with white ribbons beside his left and right.

While applauding the monks singing a song, a sign of commitment that working the world is a way to serve God.

"I work for God, I work for God, I work in God's field," the lyrics of the song sung by monks.

This week Mensos Risma was busy visiting several areas in NTT and NTB that were hit by flash floods.
